My washer and dryer die!

It was so sad for me, I get attached to my washer and dryer

 like I do my car, favorite chair or even my cat. Its very hard to give

up something you get so used to. But my dryer was old enough it

was hard to get parts and I think My husband was done trying to fix it.

Girly Planters

 

I love vintage planters!

We all have a few fun collections.

This one is going to be a pincushion and I can't wait to work on her.

This one holds the stir sticks in my office.

This is one of my favorites, she holds pencils and pens in my sewing room.

See how cute she is!

This one I made for my daughter Darcey.

Darcey gave me the one I use in my office.

She brought her to me with these flowers in her!

These are a few more I have, the dog and cat were my Grandmothers.

They were always on top of her fridge.

The lamb I found on EBay.

The Mallory's

This is new newest addition to our farm.

Yep I know they should all have their own names but....

I can't tell them apart.

I figure maybe when they are bigger I will be able to then I will 

rethink their names.

They have to stay in the house at night until they are a bit older.

Henry thinks they are pretty interesting, 

he does keep barking  at them. 

I figure they will be friend soon.

I have say I am usually one of those to busy to join in right now or I say I am going to do that next year, well I have to say I so glad I made time.

I even started a bit late which is ok.

Lori would post a new block or tell everyone what page in her book the block to be done is.

And she would even give picture hints of whats to come.....lol.....so fun!

She did have the best directions. And they were easy to follow. She also has very good pictures.

And it was so fun to see all the different fabrics everyone choose.

Lori made it fun to do each block. And after doing your block you add #haveyourselfaquiltylittlechristmas

Then everyone can look at everyone's progress and fabrics.

It is so fun and I enjoyed the anticipation of what the next block would be.

Every quilt looks darling and very different from the other.

I don't think anyone isn't having a blast!

I am so mad I haven't done the other ones she did.

GGGRRrrrrrr

But that is a mistake I won't make in the future.

It was so fun!!!

The stocking was really fun we didn't know what it was for a bit.....

toooo fun!!!

I did do my boarder different but I did use a different one in the book.

I do hope everyone has her book its too cute for words.

I did my quilt using a layer cake and the left overs I used for the back.

It really didn't take that much fabric to join in on the holiday fun.

My Baby....

My Baby got married this last weekend.

I can't believe she is so grown up, but she is.

We are so happy for Bethany and Chuck they make the cutest couple.

This is my Husband Kelly walking her down the isle.

It was such a beautiful wedding and so fun to see everyone.

We are back in Washington and missing them all ready.

Moving Fun

I haven't been posting because so busy getting our new place ready to move into.

When you move from the suburbs to the country there is a lot to learn. 

Septic systems, wells, animals, ponds and never forget stinging needles.

We are re carpeting, painting and general remodeling. 

Took a break and this is a picture of our back yard. 

We have a lot of deer and I am learning which flowers they will and won't eat. LOL

I will be so glad to be done and moved in!

Flying in the San Juans

I have the best job ever. I not only live in Paradise,

but I get to fly to other islands.

This is setting off in Friday Harbor.

The plane I went in.

So beautiful here and from the air its amazing.

I love going in the plane. It also makes sense of where everything 

is when you are up so high to see the islands.

I wish the flights weren't so fast.

Henry

This is Henry.

Our new puppy.

Hes a Mini Golden-doodle.

He's just a ball of fluff!

He loves his toys and riding around in the car.

I am so excited we got him.

He is the cutest puppy and will only get to be 15 LBS.

He also has no idea he is so small....lol

Shopping in Bothell

I found the cutest Fabric shop EVER in Bothell Washington.

It is in a shopping center full of darling shops.

They were featured in Quilt Sampler Magazine.

If you ever get to go there you won't be sorry.

And they have So many bolts it hard to choose form.

And patterns ....oh my the patterns.
